Applying for Scholarships

How to Apply

  1. The online Application for Special Scholarships 2010-2011 deadline is February 15, 2010, for freshmen entering in 2010 and March 1, 2010, for all other students. You login to the scholarship application with your OSU ID.

Note: Students new to Ohio State will use the OSU ID received after submitting their admission application to log in to the scholarship application.
  2. All students are strongly encouraged to file the FAFSA. Your financial need may make you eligible for some programs and not for others. We recommend that you not make assumptions about your eligibility. If you file the FAFSA, you will automatically be considered for all need-based aid: university-administered scholarships, grants, work-study, and loans. The FAFSA is required for these programs and is recommended for all programs.
  3. Contact your college office or visit the college website for additional scholarship opportunities. Students attending Lima, Mansfield, Marion, Newark, or ATI should contact their individual financial aid office directly to learn about scholarships offered at those campuses.
  4. Students interested in external scholarships should follow the instructions for each scholarship listed to apply for that aid.

Because funds are limited, you will not necessarily receive funds from a scholarship for which you might otherwise be eligible. Every effort is made to distribute available scholarship funds to as many students as possible.
