Student Aid Estimator

This estimates aid for a typical 2008-2009 Columbus campus freshman with a school year (9-month) budget who applies by February 15 and supplies all needed documentation by the deadline.

First, calculate your expected family contribution (EFC). Try the Finaid.org Quick EFC calculator.

After determining your EFC, select your citizenship, residency, dependent status, and housing plan. Enter family income, EFC, and any aid not awarded by Ohio State. Then click on the Estimate Aid button.

This is not a financial aid application. In order to receive an award, a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be submitted each year to the school you will be attending.

Estimated aid does not include scholarships. There are many scholarships available from Ohio State. Please be sure to complete the Application for Special Scholarships and check with your chosen college for more opportunities.
